Artist Bio

Designed by a 90's baby and rooted in yogi influence, C.R.34.M Company innovates unisex all-inclusive apparel and presents the portfolio of painter C.R.34.M.

The origin of C.R.34.M Company’s brand begins with the originator's birth name, Chandra.  Which in Hindu, means "Moon".  Looking to further define the brand's identity, she found the name Roshanee, of the origin, meaning "Light".

Incorporating the two, Chandra Roshanee MOONLÄ«T Limited Company was born.

In need of a name easier said, and a Wu-tang edge in mind, Chandra created the acronym "C.R.34.M" pronounced as "Cream".

C.R.34.M paintings bloomed as a long-lost love for Chandra.  As a child, she knew she wanted to be an artist.  Especially after the first time her work was featured in a local show at the mere age of eight, in 1999. So today, she paints in hopes to inspire the confidence of creatives, of all ages.  Whether it is their first time creating ever, or over the years.

Fast forward to 2010, upon graduating high school Chandra began her career as a Cosmetologist.  Building a resume that touched bases in the hair salon, nail salon, barbershop, eyelash extension boutiques, and a brow arching booth over the next decade.  Chandra slayed in her technical skills, but cosmetology had always been her backup plan.  Seeking different responsibilities and more freedom, it was not until 2015 that she relentlessly began to finesse her skill as the steppingstones towards a bigger picture.

During a moment of meditation in mid-2015, is when the C.R.34.M apparel became a revelation.  Already in high pursuit to finish her art degree, Chandra pivoted her focus specifically to fashion design institutes.

From VCU Arts in 2015 to the Fashion Institute of Technology or FIT in New York in 2016, then to The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising or FIDM in Los Angeles in 2018.

While accepted to FIT and FIDM, she never attended due to lack of housing in New York and lack of funds to cover the tuition exceeding FAFSA offers in LA.

In the Summer of 2017, Chandra took the initiative to attain the knowledge she was seeking from school on her own time.  Gaining business resources from the Minority Business Development sector in her hometown of Richmond, VA.  In addition, to hours upon hours of studying YouTube sewing tutorials.

Before this point, Chandra had only attended one in-person sewing class in 2016, which laid the foundation.  Her next class would not be until August 2019, both times she was a student with the Laurianda Clothing Company.

By Winter of 2017, Chandra exclusively published her first website under the name The Redd Art Chronicles, highlighting her paintings.  Not completely satisfied a year in, she took a step back to develop as an artist and personalize the brand with a better game plan.

Winter of 2018, Chandra was in Los Angeles working as an eyelash stylist with hopes to finally get back into school.  Unsuccessful and unable to postpone her enrollment for another quarter, she reflected and took the season as a self-care lesson.  Packed up and headed back home to regroup for her come back.

Thus, as of Feb 2020, C.R.34.M Company was the official new stamp and relaunched for the second time.  But due to the unexpected twist of Covid-19, Chandra decided to take another step back in the salon and utilized that pause as the fuel to create more, refine older works, and fine tune works in motion.

As of July 2021, C.R.34.M Company is now licensed business, designing and creating beyond the limits of society.
